Binny's Brew Pack - Best of the US

One of my favorite things about the holidays and Binny's is their always excellent holiday gift packs. I wish more Liquor stores in Illinois allowed customers to mix their own six pack. I've seen it in Wisconsin and Colorado but havent been able to find a store in Illinois that allows such awesomeness.

This was my first trip to Emmett's in West Dundee. The restaurant was in a fantastic historic building and the dark wood decor created an inviting warm feel. The sample flight "High-Five" was my first taste of Emmett's brews.

My favorite was the Double Barrel Oatmeal Stout.

Schlafly - St. Louis

I took a road trip to St. Louis in september for a wedding and I was able to sample some St. Louis beer (other then Budweiser) A few locals told me that this was probably the best micro brew in the area.
